Vicky Dreiling's "How To Ravish A Rake"

How to Ravish a Rake - Vicky Dreiling

Extremely unappealing hero - he loses 20,000 pounds (which he doesn't have) in a single gambling session while his brother is threatening to cut off his normal trust-fund income and expecting him to actually earn his income (oh, the horror). The heroine was OK, although her work as a dress designer, even if it is only part-time, didn't really sound convincing or ring true for the period. I finally set the book aside because it just didn't convey a sense of the historical period. Not quite as "wallpaper" bad as some that I've read, but not good either.
