Made it to page 100 and still had practically no interest in the story - it made no sense at all, even as a tall story, the few "historical" details were completely off, and I had no connection with the characters. It almost seemed like the book was written as an extended joke on the reader.
I haven't managed to finish a single one of Connie Brockway's full-length books that I've tried to read. (In addition to the 3 I've listed here, I also tried to read Bridal Favors, one from the McLairen's Isle series and one from the "My" series. No luck with any of them. Maybe it's time to give up on her ...)
