Amanda Quick's "Ravished"
This one almost caused me to give up on Amanda Quick. Couldn't even finish this one, even though it's one of her highest-rated books. The heroine was supposed to be "spunky", I guess, but she just came across as a dimwit with an emotional age of 12 and behaviour to match (she's supposed to be 25 years old). The hero had promise, but the rest of the characters were cardboard caricatures and mostly extremely annoying. Too bad ...
